Three Cornell graduate students who turned late-night study sessions into a mission to revolutionize small business operations.
The JAR Solutions Team
We were three grad students at Cornell who couldn't shake the feeling that life had to be about more than just locking down a safe 9-to-5 after graduation. While most of our classmates were perfecting resumes and chasing corporate offers, we kept asking: what if we did something that actually made a difference?
That question got real when we started looking around at the small businesses in our community. The café owner who spent half her day juggling scheduling calls. The contractor losing clients because he couldn't keep up with paperwork. The boutique shop missing sales because operations were a mess. These weren't abstract "business problems"—they were people's dreams, weighed down by everyday headaches.
That's when it clicked. Between Jairam's background in economics and consulting, Abraham's engineering skills, and Ronak's business experience, we realized we had the tools to help. Instead of climbing someone else's ladder, why not use what we know to give these business owners a shot at doing what they love without drowning in admin?
So we made the leap. JAR Solutions is our bet on small businesses—the backbone of every community. We're not just building software; we're chasing the dream of helping entrepreneurs take back their time and keep their businesses alive and growing, one owner at a time.
